Brussels Art Square

In September, for the fifth year in a row, Brussels will once again become the centre of Art and Antiques, hosting one of the most sparkling and interesting initiatives held in the European capital: Brussels Art Square (B.A.S.).
Founded in 2005 by a group of antiques dealers, Brussels Art Square aims to promote the well-established Sablon Square as an important and unique location for art and antiques in Belgium, and to foster international links and draw visitors to this colourful gallery district. A different European country is selected every year and this year it is the Netherlands turn to be the privileged Guest of Honour. read more

Tefaf Maastricht

Over the years TEFAF Maastricht has established an unrivalled reputation as the world’s leading fair for art, antiques and design.

TEFAF was born 30 years ago in Maastricht, a picturesque medieval-era city in the southernmost Dutch province of Limburg, built on Roman ruins, with a vibrant cultural life. In the 1980s two fairs – Antiquairs International, an antiques fair, and Pictura Fine Art Fair, for paintings – merged to become a new entity; in 1988 it was renamed The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF), relocating to the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre (MECC), which had just been built. read more
